Neuro Emotional Technique (NET)

Neuro chiropractic

We use Neuro Emotional Technique (N.E.T.) to discover and help with mind-body stress relief. Neuro Emotional Technique helps identify “stuck” emotional patterns that are often responsible for aches, pains, and even self-defeating habits.

NET is a system of finding imbalances in the structural, chemical or emotional side of the health triad that may be caused by past emotional trauma. Two notes from a song can either make you happy or sad because it was either your wedding song or your breakup song. This is because past emotions have been stored chemically in your system and may get retriggered by a current event.

The emotions get stored in the meridian system (acupuncture energy pathways). Each of the twelve meridians is related to an emotion and also to different muscles that affect different areas of the body. Below is an incomplete and simple example of a complex system.

  • Meridian Usual Emotion Regions Affected the Most

  • Kidney FearNeck & Low Back

  • Bladder Lack of Control Back & Ankles

  • Pancreas Esteem Shoulder

  • Liver Anger Mid back & shoulder

  • Gall Bladder Resentment Knee & Hip

  • Lung Grief Shoulder & Ribs

  • Small Intestine Abandonment Pelvis/Low Back/Knee

When an emotion gets stuck, it affects an energy pathway, called a meridian, in the body. Since meridians are related to muscles, then muscles can be affected by emotions. Therefore structural imbalances in the body can be caused by an emotional stressor.

With NET we are able to identify past emotional events that are currently affecting your health. With simple NET techniques, we were able to remove the imbalance and let the body heal itself.
